I've never been on as many as you but I do wonder... is it still me if I'm doped up?

Glad you passed along the paragraph about connection and closing ourselves in stone houses. It's so obvious yet, here behind my two deadbolt locks, it seems revolutionary.

Glad you are feeling better Sharecropper. You rock!

LindyLindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04662429826507775390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26076649.post-69643339117117890542008-02-04T00:48:00.000-05:002008-02-04T00:48:00.000-05:00It was the PBS special that I saw recently that ca...It was the PBS special that I saw recently that caused me to mention it. Some people may still be able to find it on their own PBS listings. They sell it as a DVD and VHS in their store, online & in person. I believe its title is, 'Briars in the Cotton Patch' and I found it very moving & energizing as well as informative!shallotpeelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00876598978340209297noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26076649.post-10834766519573309112008-02-03T23:55:00.000-05:002008-02-03T23:55:00.000-05:00I taught some of the writings of Clarence Jordan, ...I taught some of the writings of Clarence Jordan, their co-founder, to whom we owe the Cotton Patch Version of the Bible. He was a white man who lived his anti-segregation position in community right there in Georgia, and got kicked out of the local Baptist church for it. The local Klan wasn't too fond of him and his community either, as you can imagine. And yes, the same community gave birth to Habitat for Humanity. Few people know that. There is a film about them too. I'll find you the reference.Jane Rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13814517077774999407noreply@blogger.com
